I'm getting my scrapbooking groove on again this month and keeping it simple. I signed up for Big Picture Classes Super Simple Scrapbooking workshop that started with challenges on Monday and goes for the new few weeks.
The class description:
Feeling a little bit behind? Or guilty? Or out of ideas?
Stacy Julian and Darci Dowdle are swooping in to save the day! These super scrapbooking sisters are armed with 18 amazingly simple scrapbook challenges, 18 hilarious and inspiring videos, and 36 scrapliftable pages that will remind you why you love this hobby.
Catch up on pages you’ve been meaning to make all year, or from last year, or even from 5 years ago! This guided workshop is just the jumpstart you need to get in touch with your inner scrapbooking superhero and make dozens of great pages quickly.
Remember this: scrapbooking is FUN! It doesn’t have to be complicated, or hard, or perfect.
You can follow along as Stacy and Darci challenge each other both with meaningful page topics and simple techniques. You'll love their fun videos, step-by-step instructions, and tips and tricks for keeping it simple, sister. Consider this your own personal Great Scrapbook Rescue!
So, there are challenges everyday (Monday - Friday) to create a layout and then you have the weekend to catch up on any layouts that you didn't get created during the week. So, I'm going to stick with working through the photos I have printed (mostly 2009 photos, or photos of Rebecca from 2011).
I completed Monday's challenge on Monday and will complete the challenges from Tuesday and Wednesday tonight.
All of these layouts will be super simple - I should be able to get out 18 new layouts this month.
