here's what's new

p is for playlist ...

I was driving into work today thinking about what my post for the A to Z challenge for letter "P" would be.  I was originally going to do a post about my One Little Word - Captured word of PATIENCE, but then I heard a song on the radio that I had never heard before (and I loved it), and then thought that I would do my post about my Playlist.

First ... the song that I heard on the radio this morning is called Rhythm of Love and is sung by the Plain White T's.

It's very upbeat, isn't it?  It will soon be added to my iPod library, and possibly my blog.

I currently have over 600 songs in my iPod library, but only have 420 of those songs in my iPhone.  Most of the songs in my playlist are country songs, but you will find several other genres too.  Some of the songs that I currently can listen to over and over again are:

What is currently on your playlist? 

listening to over and over ...

First, I want to thank all of you for your gracious thoughts, words, and prayers for my aunt.  My aunt lost her courageous battle with cancer on Friday evening.  She meant so much to our family, and she will be greatly missed.

There are two songs that I have been playing over and over again.

IF YOU WANT TO HEAR THE SONGS BELOW, YOU WILL NEED TO PAUSE MY PLAYLIST (ON THE RIGHT), OR YOU WILL HEAR TWO SONGS BEING PLAYED AT THE SAME TIME.

The first song (which has been sung by many) is Hallelujah.  The version that I keep playing is sung by the Canadian Tenors.  Every time I hear this song sung by them, I get choked up.  Their voices are amazing.  The version of the song below is when they were on Oprah.  Celine Dion surprised them by coming on stage to sing with them.  If you are as emotional as me, you will need to get the tissue box out.

The next song I need to add to my iPod is sung by the Glee Cast ... Keep Holding On.

I took out the camera the other day and really zoomed in on Becca's face (and her hand).  I haven't done any manipulating of the photos yet in Photoshop ... just pictures right from the memory card.

   
 
 
And here are my LOAD layouts from the past few days.  I still have to work on the first page of Rebecca's first album.  I want to make a dedication page for her in her first album just like I did in Nicholas's first album.  I'm going to use her birth announcement as my starting point.

 

 
 
So excited for tomorrow night.  Friends of ours whom we haven't seen in a long time are coming over for dinner and for a visit.  Have major cleaning to do this weekend ... Nanny and Poppy come for a visit next week.  Nicholas is really looking forward to their visit ... he really misses them.
