currently ...

We opened our pool last weekend and Rob and Nicholas have already gone in.  The water temperature has been pretty warm since we have been getting temperatures into the high nineties.  I have yet to go in, but here is Nicholas enjoying one of his first swims this summer.

 
 
And for fun, below are some things that I am currently doing today.

enjoying : a quiet house (with the exception of the dryer running)

wearing : jean shorts, a grey t-shirt, and flip flops

celebrating : it's Children's Day today, so I'm celebrating my kids

drinking : just finished drinking a cup of hot tea

listening : to the dryer

wishing : someone (anyone) would call me to come in for a job interview

doing : work ... for work

watching : my twitter updates as they appear on my PC screen every few seconds

Nicholas and Becca have been having fun with Nanny and Poppy.  I only wish that Nicholas didn't have to be in school from 8:30am-4pm yesterday and today.  He even asked me the other day if he could take off yesterday and today.  If he hadn't missed so much school already (he was sick a lot at the beginning of the year), I would have let him stay home one of the two days, but he just can't afford to miss any more school.

Tomorrow he gets to see his bestie from pre-school and he is so excited to see her.  We have been trying to get together with her and her family for awhile now, and something always came up ... tomorrow is the day, and it can't come soon enough for Nicholas.

I'm saying lots of prayers today for the people in Japan and the people living on the West Coast and Hawaii.  Hoping for the best for everyone.
