I was so excited to dig out some of my scrapbooking supplies on Saturday afternoon to get my first layout created for the kickoff of LOAD (layout a day). Even though I wish I had all of my supplies in front of me to pick and choose from what I wanted on my page, working with the limited amount of supplies made it a bit easier. The fact is, I had to use what I had readily available. With that being said, you will probably see quite a few "simple" layouts this month, which is more my style anyway.
I created my layouts on both Saturday and Sunday, took pictures of them with my phone, and posted them to Flickr with just a few clicks on my phone using the Flickr App (LOVE IT). I didn't even need to turn on the computer to do any manipulating of the photos ... I just cropped as much as I could and posted to the LOAD214 gallery.
Here are my layouts for days 1 and 2.
So, depending on the challenge each day, you'll see layouts of Nicholas, or Rebecca, or family, or just general things to scrapbook. Today's layout will showcase Nicholas (photos from 2008) ... stay tuned.
I just want to say that I'm so glad that I joined in on the fun this month. It was so good to go to the message boards and see names of people that I've done LOAD with over the years. It's going to be a FUN month!
