It's becoming more and more frequent that I am getting behind in my blog posting. Guess that just means that I have lots going on right now. I can't believe that it is already August - time is flying by.
We have all been doing well for the most part. We are having many issues with the water in the house that we are renting. It's actually been an issue since we moved into the house in April - it's just getting worse. We are hoping that all problems will finally be put to rest next week. Keep your fingers crossed for us.
Nicholas starts school in a few weeks. I can't believe this is the beginning of his third month of summer break. He is not looking forward to going back. I'm just hoping that he is in the same class as his friend Jack. I guess we won't find that out until another few weeks.
Rob and I had the chance to attend an Indians game on Wednesday. We were sad that it wasn't against the Yankees, but were fortunate to attend the game. We had pretty good seats, and the rain held off. The game was fun, especially in the 9th inning when the Indians came back to tie the game 5-5, and then won the game in the 10th inning with a score of 6-5.
I think the highlight of the night was being able to see Nick Swisher (former Yankee) play. He was the designated hitter for the night, so we didn't see him in the field, but got to watch him come up to the plate to bat.
I have still been participating in the A Beautiful Mess 30-day self portrait challenge. Some days have been more challenging than others to figure out how to take a self -portrait of myself. Here are some of the latest pictures. The first one in the group is my favorite so far. Not sure why some of the photos below are bigger than others ...
Thanks for stopping by.
