It was very hot in Ohio this past weekend. The kids were on my case about bringing them to the park. Oh, of course, on the hottest day yet since we moved to Ohio in April. We brought several bottles of water with us and headed to the park on Saturday afternoon.
They both went on the swings at first, but since the swings are not really in the shade, their swinging time did not last long.
They both then went to the big sandbox, and I was thankful for that, because we were all then in the shade. Thank goodness for the trees that surround the sandbox. The kids had fun playing and making "sandcastles." There wasn't any water to make the castles stand and stay together, but they were happy (especially Rebecca).
Now we all can't wait to go back. They will have to convince Rob to take them to play during the week, during the day. It will definitely break the day up for all of them.
