Yesterday, I took the kids out with me in the morning to run some errands. Stopped at the post office first and made the mistake of commenting about the increased price of stamps to the clerk. I walked out of there feeling bad that I said anything.
I took the kids to McDonald's (what Becca calls Old McDonald's) for lunch. The six-piece nuggets are only $1 ... bonus. I got the kids their own little boxes.
After lunch, we went to Kohl's, and I was able to get Nick a new coat. All the winter clothing is at least 50% off, and I also had a 15% off coupon ... another BONUS. Picked up some things for Becca too.
When we got home, I was able to work on my LOAD layout (below).
And then today, after purging big time through the closet in Becca's room, I completed today's layout.
We will all be watching the Super Bowl in about another hour ... may the best team win!
I miss our Borders too. We still have a large B & N, so I shouldn't complain - but ours is a family that loves browsing the books as well.
