After a month off from participating in the This is Me Challenge, I needed to complete my challenge this month by January 2. The prompt was "What is one of your favorite holiday memories?"
I was looking for a picture from the seventh grade of my girlfriend and I sitting on my grandfather's (Santa) lap in the mall. He was the "mall Santa" for years and Suzanne and I went while we were in the seventh grade to tell Santa what we wanted for Christmas. Well, I couldn't find the picture (have to go back and organize my photos using the "Photo Freedom" method), so instead, I found the two pictures that I used in the layout below.
Supplies: Cardstock – Bazzill; Patterned Paper – Echo Park and also unknown; Photo Corners, transparent words – Heidi
Swapp; Sticker Words – 7 Gypsies; Snowflakes – Cricut (Home Accents cartridge); Font – Comic Sans; Title – Bella Blvd
And the journaling.
It was a fun night ... if I remember correctly. Now on to find that other picture.

Oh it's good to get these memories scrapped, isn't it. And I know that frustrating feeling of not be able to put your finger on the picture that tells the story you are ready to tell. Nevertheless, this story is nicely told and so prettily scrapped.
