Nicholas took part in his First Reconciliation yesterday afternoon. He was extremely nervous about going in front of the priest and telling him his sins, but mostly for having to say the Act of Contrition (which he was having a hard time remembering at times).
We got to the church pretty early, but that just gave Nicholas more time to review what he needed to say. Rob and Rebecca didn't get to come with us because Rebecca had been fighting a fever all day (today she is going to the doctors).
When it was time for Nicholas to go, he wasn't very nervous. He was in and out of the room within minutes. Once we got back to the pew, he told me that he didn't have to recite the prayer. Not quite sure how he got out of that, but he sure was happy.

We are so proud of him. Next on the agenda is his Communion in May.
