Nicholas has been reading a lot this year. He needs to read so many books a month for school for his Book It program, and he was also been participating in a reading challenge at school over the past few weeks.
I picked up a book for him the other day from the library and really enjoyed reading it with him over the weekend. It is called Won't You Be My Hugaroo? I LOVE this book. We are a hugging family, so this book was perfect to read. I may even go out and order a copy to have at home.
The book was about all the different kinds of hugs you can share with someone, like ...
A friendly hug is nice and plain. It's good to be with you again.
A baby hug is sweet and tight and ends with giggles of delight.
A tickle hug will make you jiggle and laugh and squeal and squirm and giggle.
A cuddly hug on someone's lap will often end up with a nap.
And there are so many more.
Today is the last day of LOAD. Even though I got behind (kind of), I enjoyed participating and am so happy with the layouts that I created. I am especially happy with the layouts I completed for Rebecca's book.
These are my layouts from days 25 and 26. I will need to complete the last two layouts of the month tonight (hopefully).
Enjoy your evening everyone!
