I know this isn't the greatest picture, but these were flowers that Nicholas picked for me the other day, so I had to capture a picture. He was so proud of himself, and I was so proud of him for the sweet gesture that I had to rush into the house and put them in water. They didn't last very long, not even through the evening, but it was the sweet thought of my son to pick mommy flowers.
I'm going to try and catch up on my scrapbook classes over the upcoming long weekend. I hope the weather holds out - right now our town is pretty much shut down due to the flooding. The water is hitting the bottom of the bridge in town and everyone is waiting for the water to crest.
We had really bad storms again last night taking down many trees. We hardly have any trees in our yard to begin with, so we are lucky. We are also lucky that our power is still on. I can guarantee you that my parents lost their power last night. They lose power when the sun is shining.
I'm going to relax for a little while this morning, have some tea, and then get to work.
Until next time ---
