On Saturday morning, we all headed to the park for their annual egg hunt. The "hunt" was divided by age group in different sections of the park, but Nicholas stayed with Rebecca. The field was full of eggs waiting to be fetched up.
The rule was that the whistle was going to blow and the kids were allowed to get three eggs and then go back to the starting (not a great rule for Pre-K kids). The whistle was then sounded off again and it was a free for all.
Rebecca kind of freaked out when she started walking onto the field and then ran back to Rob and I. I ended up walking out to get eggs with her. We only got about four eggs though, because our feet were sinking into the muddy grass. Nicholas ran around and got a few more eggs, but not many more.
The only pictures I was able to capture were when Rebecca and Nicholas were standing together waiting for the "short-lived" festivities to begin.
On Sunday, we headed to the park to enjoy the beautiful almost 80 degrees.
I hope we get more days like that soon. After the beautiful temperatures over the weekend, we are getting snow today. I'm SO sick of this white "stuff" and the cold weather.
